The last few years various voices have asked for the initiation ritual for Jewish males to be curtailed, restricted or banned altogether. We are working on a wider project to inform people about the tradition of Jewish circumcision, it’s prevalence around the world, the health benefits as attested in various scientific research papers and the low risks associated with the procedure if carried out in a professional manner. There is often very little knowledge about circumcision in Europe which leads to calls against the procedure. Through education we can create dialogue and respect between various communities.
